Drawing of reinforcement
Two approaches are available for reinforcement:
1. Parametric reinforcement: Associate a “reinforcement style” to every structural element specifying the number of bars, diameters, concrete covers, and spacing. Advance Concrete then creates the views with the necessary reinforcement and visual elements. The reinforcement cage adjusts to the form work and is updated when modifications occur. Reinforcement of beams, columns, walls, footings, elevator cages, and stairs …is automatic!
2. Reinforcement drawing: A comprehensive reinforcement library (straight, rectangular, pin or circular bar, etc.) enables the reinforcement of a structure drawn on a 2D plan.Advance Concrete precisely manages the concrete covers, bar diameter, fillet radius, etc.In addition, Advance Concrete outlines the fabrics and optimizes the trimming.
The reinforcement cage 3D viewer allows you to control the reinforcement arrangement and check collisions.
Drawing bars and meshes in Advance is interactive and user-friendly: during the creation process, it is possible to access to all bars parameters and to benefit from a real-time preview of all the modifications.
Bar types:
- Straight bars
- Point bars
- U and L bars
- Polygonal bars
- Frames
- Circular bars
- Pin bars
- Stirrup bars
Possibility to use and store customized reinforcement
Bar distribution
The “Sideview” tool finds the different view point of the bent bars and automatically proposes the associated normalized representation. The bars are dynamically distributed: at any time, the user keeps the control. Therefore the designer can modify the distribution criteria and immediately notice the result visually.
- Linear distribution or distribution along a line
- Distributions along a polygonal line
- Distribution on an arch
- Distribution of bars of variable length
- Quantitative distributions on a single view
Representations of bar distribution:
- Representation of all bars
- Representation of end or central bars
- Representation of single bars turned with 90°
Reinforcement of the linear elements:
- Distribution of linear standard sections
Advance Concrete offers many other tools (labels, bending details, specific dimensions, etc.). Lists are also automatically created and updated when modifications occur.
Locations and schedules
Normalized and standard schedules are delivered with Advance. The program is developed in order to easily create a new schedule with or without a diagram.
Locations:
- Bars locations
- Bar schematic - dimensioned or not
- Bar sorting by labels
Lists:
- Customized Schedules
- Automatic update
- Contents and ratios
